NutriSystem - does it work or is it hype!

I'm really thinking of going on this diet. Is there anyone out there who can offer any honest insight about it?

I have just recently tried the program and give it rave reviews! If you follow their meal planner, you are NEVER hungry. Plus the meals are truly very good tasting. I have lost 5 lbs. already in 2 days. It's really about balancing their nutrition plan, meal plan, portion control and exercise. I recommend it. I am spending about $40 to $50 more per month than I would on the high grocery prices I pay now so considering I'm losting weight, I find it to be worthwhille.

I have been thinking of it too. I keep seeing their commercials on TV but can't believe all the hype. What does the food REALLY taste like?

One of my friends has been on it and says the food is awesome. The one thing is that you have to strictly abide by their Meal Plan because if you deviate from it, the results won't be felt.

I actually tried it a year ago and go no results from it. I tried to follow it carefully but just never really lost weight on it. Maybe it works better for others than it did for me.

Gotta give my 2 cents on this! I signed up for it a few months ago and am about to cancel. I didn't lose one pound on it! Plus, it does cost a lot and they don't really pitch on there commercials that you have to add dairy, fruits and veggies to the program. In essence, the cost is way more than the average price of groceryies.

I just don't recomend it.

I have also heard bad reviews about the effects of soy in all its products. Some people cannot digest soy well and have intestinal problems because of it.

DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! Remember the famous people in their commercials are PAID to endorse it.

I tried it and didn't like it. The food upset my stomach and the diet itself did no miracle for me.

My aunt lost 35 lbs. on it! She said after a while you get used to all the foods but you MUST exercise along with the program. She started walking 1 to 2 miles daily.

Portion control and exercise are all you need. You don't need to use NutriSystem - just use common sense!

I like the way the commercial look like you get a nice decent size portion. My aunt has these meals delivered to her and they are TINY. I know portion control is important but she says she is always hungry.

It's lost some of its luster - I don't think people can 1) afford it and 2) it's that effective.
